Demi Vlachogiannis Appointed Practice Group Leader of Our New Insurance and Motor Vehicle Accidents Division (MVA)

Having earned widespread recognition for our track record in the legal industry, particularly within the insurance field, we at Robinson Gill Lawyers are thrilled to announce the establishment of our new Insurance and Motor Vehicle Accidents Division (MVA).    

This new department will focus on providing industry leading advice, support, and assistance across the complex market of insurance claims, particularly those following motor vehicle accidents. 

The new division is composed of a professional team of dedicated lawyers who specialise in managing all aspects of insurance claims, including but not limited to: 

• Understanding how vehicles are assessed, repaired, or written-off;
• Choosing an appropriate professional to carry out necessary repairs; 
• Managing insurance disputes; and
• Where appropriate, referring clients to our esteemed personal injury compensation team if a serious road accident has occurred.

The newly established MVA has been developed out of our existing insurance practice areas in order to provide a wider,  holistic approach which can  offer  resolutions to all of our client needs.

We are excited to announce that our new Motor Vehicle Accidents Division will be spearheaded by the talented Demi Vlachogiannis. 

With more than two decades of litigation experience under her belt, Demi has built a solid reputation in insurance practice, with particular success in assisting clients with motor vehicle accident claims. 

Demi works closely with her clients to ensure that they receive the best possible advice regarding their potential claim following a motor vehicle accident. Her technical expertise, procedural knowledge and understanding of the importance of keeping costs to a minimum ensures that her clients achieve the best possible outcome, confident that they are in a safe pair of hands.

Throughout her career, Demi has been involved in a wide variety of claims, including commercial litigation and indemnity matters. She has developed a specialist understanding of the way in which the insurance system works, including the way that damaged vehicles are assessed, repaired, or written off. She is particularly interested in helping clients to pursue claims against wrongful decisions made by insurers. 

Over time, Demi has built trusted relationships with panel beaters, loss assessors, and hire-car providers, all of which are utilised in order to secure the best possible outcome for her clients. 

To make things easy for her clients and contacts, Demi initiated the creation of an online motor vehicle claims tool which significantly expedites the assessment process when  determining a client’s eligibility to make a claim against an at-fault party. Free of cost, this tool comes with a complete pack of assessment materials, making it an extremely efficient way of assessing property damage and claiming against the cost of repairing property or lost income following a motor vehicle accident.
