Rocky is a lawyer in the disputes team at Robinson Gill.  With his varied and extensive litigation experience, Rocky acts for clients across a range of commercial litigation matters.

An experienced litigator

A confident and accomplished advocate and negotiator since his student days at Monash University, Rocky continues to enjoy the challenges presented by litigation.

Prior to joining Robinson Gill, Rocky started his legal career at a leading family law firm and had responsibility for a large caseload of disputes ranging from property disputes, parenting matters and divorce proceedings.  Moving then to a busy insurance law firm, Rocky honed his litigation skills managing a high-volume of motor vehicle insurance litigation matters.

Rocky brings valuable litigation experience, and an ability to carefully plan effective litigation strategies, across a range of commercial matters including shareholder, contractual, building and debt recovery disputes.  Clients value Rocky’s approachability, eye for detail and dedication to get the optimal outcome in each of his matters.

Connecting with the Chinese-Australian community

Rocky has strong connections with the Chinese-Australian community and is passionate about promoting greater cultural diversity and access to justice.  An effective networker, Rocky was a committee member of the Asian Australian Lawyer Association (AALA) during his university days, and he continues to contribute to the community through his membership of the AALA.

Rocky is fluent in English, Mandarin and Shanghainese dialect.
