Shilpa has honed her robust written and oral advocacy skills through autonomously managing a demanding caseload in a bustling criminal defence practice, where she adeptly guides clients with diverse backgrounds and complex needs.
She has regularly appeared at Magistrates’ Courts throughout Victoria as a solicitor-advocate in contest mentions, plea hearings, contraventions, committal mentions and bail applications. Shilpa also has experience running contested hearings in the Magistrates’ Court of Victoria.
In the County Court and Supreme Courts, Shilpa is well versed in preparing and instructing on a variety of matters including bail applications, appeals, contraventions, supervision order hearings and trials.
