Taking pride in our reputation as industry leaders in wills, estate planning and property, we at Robinson Gill Lawyers are excited to announce the establishment of our new Property and Probate Division (PAPD).
As with all our other specialty divisions, our new property and probate department will remain uncompromising in providing an exceptional legal service across all wills, estate and property matters.
Comprised of a dedicated team of lawyers working across wills, estate planning and conveyancing, the new Property and Probate Division will focus on providing professional legal advice on your rights and obligations with regard to property transactions and transfers, including but not limited to:
- Buying and selling commercial, industrial and residential property;
- Leases on commercial and retail properties;
- New titles and subdivisions.
We are thrilled to announce that the new division will be spearheaded by our very own Tony Bartel.
An expert at helping clients to get things in place, Tony brings years of experience in wills, estate planning, commercial and property to the table. From complex proeprty transactions to drafting wills and powers of attorney documentation to the more complex process of arranging testamentary trusts, Tony has always been passionate about helping his clients prepare for those “what if's”.
Tony ensures that his clients receive comprehensive advice on all of the legal options available to guarantee that their loved ones are protected and looked after when they pass on.
In line with his advocacy, Tony has initiated the creation of the department’s new online wills system, which provides an easy and efficient way for clients to create their wills and powers of attorney documents online.
He has also collaborated with and supported his colleague Rachael McKendrick on the “Contest a Will” series, an online campaign which provides valuable information for clients on estate planning, asset protection and family law matters, business structures, superannuation, and other matters related to estate disputes.
A series of fictional stories drawn from real-life cases, the online program offers an informative platform for potential clients who are seeking resources to guide them through their own questions and concerns relating to wills and estate planning.
For more complex circumstances, Tony is adept at assisting executors of estates in applications for Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration. He also provides succession planning advice for clients with small enterprises and family-owned businesses.
Robinson Gill Managing and Founding Principal, Tim Robinson, commented, “Tony’s wealth of experience enables him to provide clients with expert advice on protecting their assets, particularly those who are at high risk of litigation due to the nature of their profession.
“With his additional life experience serving in the clergy, Tony is also incredible at relating to people from all walks of life, and offering guidance tailored to their individual circumstances. He is ideally placed to spearhead our new Property and Probate team.”
