Kate is an associate in our police misconduct team. An experienced litigator, she is dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes for people who have been treated unlawfully by Victoria Police and for families involved in coronial investigations.

Skilled plaintiff litigator

Before joining Robinson Gill, Kate was an Associate to the Honourable Justice Keogh in the Supreme Court of Victoria where she gained invaluable insight into court procedures and a practical understanding of common law disputes in the areas of institutional liability, personal injury and major torts. Prior to this, Kate worked at a specialist plaintiff class action law firm where she gained experience in complex claims involving securities and misfeasance in public office.

Protecting the rights of clients

Kate advocates for the rights of victims of police misconduct, those injured while in custody and represents families in coronial inquests. Always empathetic to the needs of her clients, Kate helps them navigate the uncertainties of the litigation process.

Since her law school days, Kate has also helped marginalised and vulnerable people through volunteer roles at community legal services and pro bono work for refugees and people seeking asylum, including strategic litigation in the Federal and High Courts.
